<lj:music>The Dalek Song</lj:music>

I am so painfully excited about Sunday! I'm going to Cardiff to the Doctor Who: A Celebration concert! For those who don't know what that is, these links will explain better than me; http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/news/cult/news/drwho/2006/10/09/36824.shtml
http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/news/cult/news/drwho/2006/11/10/37849.shtml
It is just going to be soooo amazing! I'll get my picture taken with a Dalek and the TARDIS, and I'll go the exhibition and I'll try and break into Torchwood, and I'll see David Tennant and Russel T Davies! Sorry that there's no actual point to this entry, but I had to share this with someone! *Bounces around*

    <lj:music>Sixth form again...no music, alas!</lj:music>

For no reason other than I felt like it, here is a list of books that I love! Books are pretty much my favourite thing ever (after Labyrinth, of course) so I'm actually quite suprised I haven't done this before. So here, in no particular order, is crystal owl's wonderful book list!

1) The Moth Diaries, by Rachel Klein. I've just re-read this, and it's amazing. It's one of those books when you read it, and then feel so sad that there isn't a sequel - you feel like going right back to the start and reading it again. There's a lot of drugs, swearing and sex but not in a smutty way (sorry norg!) and the images it conjures up are just beautiful.

2) His Dark Materials (Trilogy of Northern Lights, The Subtle Knife and The Amber Spyglass), by Phillip Pullman. These have been my favourite books for years. I'm actually quite sad at the moment - they've finally started casting Lyra for the film version, and I'm way too old. I mean, I knew I would be but...I am Lyra! I wish I could be her. Just you wait - I'm going to play her at the National Theatre one day. I also have 'Lyra's Oxford' , a short story that come after these which my sister got signed for me. I'm also eagerly awaiting the long anticipated 'Book of Dust', which Pullman has been working on for ages - we'reexpecting it to have loads of extra information, sort of like the Silmarillion. Which brings me neatly to my next point...

3) The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, by JRR Tolkien. I am of the opinion that everyone should read these at least once. If you don't like them, fair enough, but everyone should try them - there are few books out there as richly woven as these. Don't believe me? OK - the history of Middle Earth just barely fits into three books of about four inches each, then there's the Silmarillion, the unfinished tales, Tom Bombladil etc...how many authors these days honestly know that much about their creation? Tolkien knew everything, and it's that which makes his novels so compelling.

4) Jane Eyre, by Charlotte Bronte. I've always been more of a Bronte gal than an Austen, and Jane Eyre is my favourite. I love the passion and the imagery, and the romance of the whole thing. My brother much prefers Emily's 'Wuthering Heights' as he says there's much more passion and excitement. For me, though, all the violent passion of 'Heights' starts to bore me halfway through - I find the emotions in Jane Eyre much more honest, and there is passion in it - Mr Rochester cries out for Jane, and she hears him hundreds of miles away! I love it.

5) The Jane Austen Book Club, by Karen Joy Fowler. Yes, yes, I know I just said I preferred Bronte, but this book isn't by Austen, or even completely about her. It's very well written though, and both funny and poignant. The review on the cover says 'If I could eat this novel I would' which I orignally thought was a pretty weird thing to say, but it does kind of fit this book. It's delicious, that really is the best work I can think of.

6) Year of the King, Primo Time and Woza Shakespeare!, all by Antony Sher, the latter written with Gregory Doran. I'm an actor, so I'm bound to love these - they give you such an insight into the world of theatre, and how a production comes together. I get so inspired by the sheer amount of research and experiment that Antony Sher puts into his acting that I took my copy of Year of the King to all my Drama School auditions. Even if you aren't an actor or director or whatever yourself, if you have any interest at all in acting or Shakespeare then you should read the first and last titles. Everyone should read the middle one (Primo Time) as it made me, personally, really reflect on the Apartheid and the concentration camps, which I think is an important time in history to remember.

7) Memoirs of a Geisha, by Arthur Golden. I'd been meaning to read this, and then I was chatting to Atsui who again recommended it, so I borrowed it off my sister to read. It's not my favourite book ever, but I did really enjoy it - it conjured up really strong images, which is what I always want from a book. I love the fact it's in first person - Chiyo/Sayuri is a wonderful narrator, and I just fell in love with her, although there were moments when I felt like shouting 'No! Don't do that, you'll get in so much trouble!' This book is so opulent and descriptive, it's wonderful.

8) The Discworld Series, by Terry Pratchett. Man, I love these. I've lost count but I think we're up to about 30 in the series! My favourites are the ones about Death and Susan, but they're all good. I find these to be perfect for reading in the bath - a bit of light relief, and a story so utterly ridiculous that you just go along with it happily and hope it all works out! The footnotes in themselves would make a pretty funny supplementif you ever couldn't be bothered to read the whole story!

9) Eragon and Eldest, both by Christopher Paolini. I want to say one thing about these before I say why I like them; they are not original. As you read you are constantly seeing references to Lord of the Rings and other fantasy novels. Whether Christopher Paolini is aware of this or not is a moot point, but they are atpoints almost ridiculously similar. That is, however, why I like them. I know that sounds odd, but think about it - they may have copied a formula, but it is obviously a formula that works. Christopher Paolini has not written a groundbreaking epic but he has written an enjoyable, nicely told fantasy trilogy.(Yes, I know there are only two - there will be three in the end) Anyway, I like dragons!

10) Harry Potter books 1-6, by JK Rowling. Sorry to end on such an unoriginal note, but whatever. These are well-written, original books, and I like them. I'm not a bandwagon jumper, I've read them since the beginning and Iove the magic and intrigue of them, as well as JK Rowlings off sense of humour! I have yet to queue up at midnight to get the latest one, but I am planning to do so for the final book just so I can say I was there! I do, however, get them on the day they're released and read non-stop all day until I'm done. I've had several people accuse meof lying over that, saying it's impossible to read the longer ones in one day. Well, sorry, but it is totally possible and I have done it. So there, too! And in case anyone is interested - I'm a Ravenclaw. :)

So there we have it! I'm sure there are loads I've missed out, but I read so much it'd get plain silly to list every book I like! If you agree, disagree of want to recomment a new book then go ahead and comment! Go on...you know you want to!

Just a note to say - WHERE ON EARTH IS ATSUI? I haven't heard from you in ages, I miss you! Come back to us!

It seems whenever I come onto the computer lately something bad happens. First I came on and spent ages on this huge beta for norg/atsui only to find she'd already posted the chapter (with my permission, I hasten to add - she wasn't being mean!). This isn't so much bad as embarrasing, but it sets the scene for what follows...
Next I came on and went to Labyrinth Unlimited only to find that a huge bunch of them had left and started their own board, making me feel about *this* high in the process. Now the board is just ruined for me - there's hardly anyone left and I don't even feel like posting any more. I don't feel comfortable posting on their new one, as I was too hurt and upset by their leaving like that to feel happy there. So I am effectively left without a Labyrinth board. Yeesh, I may actually have to get a life now.
The third thing was when I came to the computer a few days later I had a really bad fall when the chair fell away, smashing my left arm on it so that it was completely bruised and hurt the muscle. I've spent most of this week with it bandaged up, and with a sling. I am now bandage free but it is still covered in a big bruise and is quite tender. Stupid chair, trying to kill me.

So I've spent the past week with a really painful arm, drifting aimlessly about the interent because norg has been abducted by aliens (or could just be busy...tough call really) and the Labyrinth board is dead. Happy days, eh?

This is stolen from pretty much everyone!

A - Accent: I don't really have one...it's just English. I can do an American one though, lol.

B - Breakfast Item: Ready Brek and either apple juice or, if it's cold, hot chocolate or coffee. My mama makes it for me :D

C - Chore you hate: Dusting! It takes for ever and makes my nose tickle.

D - Dad's Name: Barry (Snap, Pink!)

E - Essential everyday item: Mascara. I haven't left the house without mascara on for about five years!

F - Flavour ice cream: Toblerone. It's just sooo good!

G - Gold or Silver?: Always Silver. I don't really own any Gold, so if I'm wearing it it's for a specific reason.

H - Hometown: Birmingham, but I do NOT have a Brummy accent, I can't stand that.

I - Insomnia: Not normally, only if I'm worried about something or if I've had such a lazy day that I'm not tired. I love the time just after you've gone to bed, but before you fall asleep. Such freedom.

J - Job Title: I don't have a job...I'm still in sixth form. I'm a Mentor for my youth theatre though...

K - Kids: Um, no! Waaay too young for that!

L - Living arrangements: Moi, ma mere, mon pere, et ma souer et mone frere when they arne't at Uni.

M - Mum's birthplace: Newcastle, but she doesn't have the accent either.

N - Number of significant others you’ve ever had: None, really. How boring, lol. Although it's only a matter of time before Johnny Depp sees the light and comes to me!

O - Overnight hospital stays: Ummm...I suppose it was about a week, maybe a little less.

P - Phobia: Needles. Hate needles. Needles are bad. Also people touching my lower back. And needles. Je n'aime pas needles.

Q - Queer?: Is this a trick question?

R - Religious Affiliation: Baptist born and bred! My Dad is a Baptist minister.

S - Siblings?: One brother, one sister, both older than me. I'm close to them both, which is fantastique. I don't understand people who don't get on with their siblings, mine are really important to me. (Are you reading this Si?)

T - Time you wake up: On school days, seven (urg). On Sundays, for drama, around eight. On Saturdays, whenever I wake up so...midday!

U - Unnatural hair colours you've worn: I did have bright red highlights at one point, which I loved, but I didn't have them re-done and they've faded now.

V - Vegetable you refuse to eat: Mushrooms. They are utterly vile...so slimy, yuk.

W - Worst habit: Well, you know how some people crack their knuckles? I do that with my toes. 'Nuf said.

X - X-rays you’ve had: I must have had one when I broke my arm aged about five, and another one when I knelt on a piece of china and had to have stitches, so that makes two. I've also had a brain scan.

Y - Yummy: Chocolate, Quorn mince, pasta, pizza, garlic bread, jelly (except orange), cake, bananas and oranged.

Z - Zodiac sign: Aquarius, but I'm not really into that stuff.

Well, that was fun. If there's anyone left who hasn't done this, then jump aboard the band wagon and join us!

Love as ever,
Crystal

P.S Just want to shout out about the first part of the epilogue for 'The Way Back'. <lj:music>I have The Lion King stuck in my head, does that count?</lj:music>

I said I'd show this poem once the person I wrote it for has read it, and she sent me a text yesterday saying that "you will never know how much it meant." (For those who don't know, my friend's mother died and I wrote her this poem to let her know I was thinking of her. Her mother was into her 90s, so she'd had a good life but it can't ever be easy to lose a parent.)
The fact that it helped it is the most important to me, but I'm always intersted in your opinions. It isn't a great work of literature, but it was meant as a comfort and that's all it needs to be.

'The Promised Land'

There is a land that is promised to us,
By the one who our lives watches o’er,
A land where no shadows may enter,
And the passage of time has no power,
All our lives we are travelling a journey,
And this heavenly land is our aim,
Where at last we will be with our Saviour,
Where at last we will know no more pain.
True, the people we must leave behind us
Have to struggle to fight off their grief,
So we say; “Do not cry for my passing;
But rejoice for my entering Peace.”

So, you know the drill. Comment, let me know what you think of it, anything it makes you think/feel.
Love and hugs,
crystal_owl

P.S For those appalling philistines amongst you who have not yet read 'The Way Back', by atsuiebelulah yet, get your lazy butts ovet to fanfiction.net and read it! <lj:music>*cough* stupid question *cough*</lj:music>

Hi again. I was getting really sick of seeing that same old post, so I thought I'd try something diffent here and post one of my poems. I used to write poetry quite a lot, but they started getting terribly depressing so I stopped. The one I'm going to share with you now, however, is completely different to all of the others I've written. Seeing as most of the people who I know of that read this post are either fanfic authors (go atsui!) or labyrinth fans (vote Labyrinthians!) I thought this would be an appropriate one to start with, as it is a fantasy poem. I'd be interested to know what you think of it, as it really is a strange one for me. If I ever feel the inclination to post any of my other, much more personal, poems you'll see just how much of a wild card this one really is.
Still, here goes nothing. Hope you like it, or at the very least don't actively hate it...

'Reborn'
Long before darkness crept o’er the land,
And shadow came to rule,
Long before cruelty reached out his iron hand,
And the hearts of men became cruel,
The forests were full of things so pure,
That all evil was kept at bay,
For they contained creatures with hearts so sure,
That their bodies shone bright as day.

The bright ones, unicorns, guardians of truth,
Call them what you will,
They vanished while the world was still in its youth,
And their forests now lie cold and still.
With the guardians gone, with the bright light dimmed,
The world was surely doomed,
Their song was no longer heard on the wind,
And the evil shadow loomed,
It snatched the world, and it seized control,
It held it in its jaws,
All light it soon devoured whole,
The world was in its claws,

Yet hope remains, for unicorns,
The true ones, cannot die,
And someday someone will be born,
Who will find where they lie,
A quest awaits this special one,
To find the unicorns,
If they return, wrong is undone,
The world will be reborn.

You should also note that I wrote this quite a long time ago...a couple of years at least. Very few people ever comment on my LJ but I'd really be interested in your opinions this time. (Especially you atsui)
Well, hope you're all healthy and glad to be in a brand-spanking new year! I''ve got about a million auditions this month, as well as my driving test, so wish me luck for all of those. Veyr weird to think that I'll be leaving school this year...I can actually count it down in weeks now. Strange feeling...I might end up doing a very introspective post about it at some point, so be prepared for that!

Love you all as always,
Crystal_owl, the wannab-poet.

Stolen from Mcfly, but she stole it too and I really love these things! So, here we go - 70 questions!

1. DO YOU SNORE?
No, but I have been told that I 'murmer contentedly' as I settle down

2.

4. AS A KID, WERE YOU A LEGO MANIAC?
Not really, my brother never let me play with his. I was really into sylanians though, has an entire village of them. Oh, and beanie babies.

5. WHAT DO YOU THINK OF "REALITY" TV?
I don't.

6. DO YOU CHEW ON YOUR STRAWS?
Not really, but I do always bend then back and forth madly.

7. WERE YOU A CUTE BABY?
Oh yes - I was born with a squint in both eyes wich is terriblt adorable when you're one. It'd look pretty daft by now though, if they hadn't fixed it...

8. IS THE SINGLE LIFE FOR YOU?
I've never experienced anything else, to be honest. I'm generally a loner but I'd hate to be single for ever.

Nothing much to say, but I was getting bored with seeing the same entry
every day. So, for the mere purpose of a change of scenery, I thought
I'd take this moment to list a few websites which I like at the moment.

http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2437332/1/ - Fanfiction is so much fun!
This links to norgbelulah's fiction, which is my favourite. Roll on,
The Way Back chapter 21!

http://www.thecopperdragon.com/goingunderground.htm - Ok, how much fun is this stuff?! I want eye lichen!

http://toychest.diamondcomics.com/toys/11_05/14_labyrinth.htm - On the
topic of Labyrinth collectables, check this out. (If you haven't seen
it before I recommend you brace yourself seeing as I nearly fell off
my chair!)

http://invisionfree.com/forums/labyrinth - In my humble opinion,
currently the best Labyrinth board around since imdb pulled an Anakin
on us and went over to the dark side. (Who in their right minds would
delete pink?!)

http://www.computerpranks.com/download/online-fun/supercoolpic.swf - This is just so cool! I don't who made it, or how they did it, but it's as good a way as any to spend a few minutes.

I think that's it for now :) Hope everyone is a happy bunny and everything, and that atsui has done her homework, lol.
P.S - I worked out how to make links all by myself! Yay, me!
<lj:music>I'm at school - it is far too noisy in here for music!</lj:music>

I know I sad I'd do a huge post on Monday evening but I was didn't get round to it. Anyway, I doubt anyone was exactly waiting with baited breath!
The audition went well, I think, but I haven't heard anything yet. They said it should take about seven days so I haven't really expected to, but it's hard not to be impatient! Oxford School of Drama isn't my first choice, but it would be quite gratifying to be accepted for my first ever drama school audition - it would bode well for the future. It's only a sixth month foundation couse, but it looks good.
Anyway, if anyone really wants to know I'll tell them more about the actual audition but my real intention for this post was to share the following list with you. First, the backstory. Those of you who used to frequent the imbd boards until we declared mutiny and left (for the wonderful realms of the labyrinth unlimited site) there was a certain poster who couldn't understand why so many of us loved Labyrinth so much. People were getting quite cross, calling him a troll, and the argument raged over two seperate posts for about a week before people let it die. During the argument I made an attempt to calm people down by answering his original question. What follows is the main reasons that I love Labyrinth. Enjoy!

1) It has a believable heroine, who I can certainly relate to. Who among us, at age 15/16, has not lamented the unfairness of everything?

2) Sarah is going through that phase when you're not longer a child, but you're desperatly fighting against being an adult. For me, still going through it in some ways, this is an extremely difficult time - seeing this situation in someone else helps to alieviate the feeling of panic and worry.

3) They just don't make then like this anymore! Puppets are so beautiful, and have such charm - CGI just isn't the same. The skill and artistry in making these characters is astounding.

4) Yes, Ok, to many people David Bowie is a factor. Personally I'm not a particular fan, but he is an amazing Jareth - so appealing and with such a wonderful presence.

5) It's a gorgeus thing - sets, costume, puppets, everything works so beautifully. I could look at it for hours, there's always something new to discover.

6) The songs a fab. I want to have ATWFD as my wedding song! I shall have to find an understanding husband!

7) It's an escape. There are many times in my life when i wish I could just go away from this world, join the fantasy. Labyrinth lets me do that.

8) The story is timeless, and quite deep. Sarah discovers so much of herself, and her relationship with Jareth has stood up to nearly 20 years of evaluation so far and we still haven't fully cracked it. It's so rich - having Terry Jones on board was a master stroke!

9) The humour - it is so funny at times. "We're just the knockers" ... I mean, come on! lol

10) And finally... If i could go anywhere at all, I'd go to the Labyrinth. How many films can make you feel that way these days?

So there we are. Feel free to add your own, or to disagree. There are way more things that I love about it - these are just the ten that sprang immediatly to mind.

The only other thing was, I've been toying with the idea of posting some of my poetry up here. I haven't written any for quite a while but I still have some of my old ones. They're nothing amazing, I just wondered if people would be interested in reading them...Let me know!

Love always,
Crystal_owl

Hey again guys. I am in one of my 'what is up with the world?' moods
right now, it feels like everything in my life it total chaos. Forgive
me the short novel which will follow, but I need think and I think in
words. So, it all started on Wednesday. There are only four people in
my drama class at school and normally we all get on really well, but
for some reason everyone was in a really weird mood. One of my friends,
who is president of our sixth form Student Union, and one of the most
popular girls there, said she was feeling totally fed up with school,
and that she wants to leave. She won't, but she wants to, so that was
making her really down. Another friend, who is normally great at just
getting on and doing it, was getting seriously bent out of shape with
the set she was trying to make. Apparently the wallpaper paste was far
too runny, and was making her job really diffucult. This led her to
snapping at everyone in the group, and she and her boyfriend, the
fourth member, seemed to be pretty tense. Eventually she went off for
some quiet time. My other friend went to talk to her, then her
boyfriend went and they started to giggle, and all seemed well again.
But, no. The next day we had drama again. The wallpaper was apparently
still annoying friend number two, and friend number one was seriously
miserable. I'd explain why but she would kill me if I posted her
personal business online, so I won't. Not that she'd know - none of
them know about LJ, or that I am crystal_owl. Anyway, she said to me
not to speak to her because she's probably end up shouting, so I pretty
much went and stood quietly in the corner. (I am definatly not the
dominat member in this group...) This seemed to annoy her too, as about
ten minutes later she told me off for just 'sitting there for no
reason'. Um, you mean like you are? Hypocrite, I was trying to keep out
of the way. But whatever. Generally speaking I'm very sensitive to
atmoshperes and the whole lesson was making me feel very tense and
anxious, so I was glad when it was over. Turns out that friend number
one )are you following this?) went home after than lesson. I know that
sounds like nothing much, but it seems to me that drama is becoming
more and more awkward as everyone becomes more and more fed up.
What their problem is I couldn't say, but for me it's all so messed up.
It's like...I feel like I don't know anybody like me. I'm generally a
loner, and it suits me to be on my own, but sometimes I want company.
Don't get me wrong, I have friends that I can hang out with at school,
and who are really great, but deep down they don't get me. They're all
so grown up, and into parties and gigs and stuff, whereas with me, I
live more in my imagination, and I prefer books and fantasies to bands
and parties. Am I a total freak? None of them are like me. I feel
stupid, like I must be doing something wrong because I don't think like
they do. They all live very much in the here and now, whereas I seem to
live very much in my imagination and dreams. Lately I've started to
feel like I'm slipping away from everything - that my imagination is
becoming more important than reality. This goes deeper than I can say
here, I can't tell anybody, but I feel like I'm calling for help and no
one can see anything wrong. This all reads as very depressing - I feel
like I'm saying it all wrong. I am happy, I am having fun, don't think
I'm not. I just feel incredibly isolated.
I don't want to finish this entry on such a down note. It gives the
impression that I'm deeply unhappy. I'm not - I like my life, and I'm
happy and always on the go. I am perfectly content. It'd just be nice
to feel that I wasn't quite so different all the time.
On a positive note - I have my first audition for Drama School on Monday! Wish me luck, I'm a bit nervous!
<lj:music>Stop asking me this!</lj:music>

Hello once again to all you lovely people! I have no specific reason
for this update other than that I get bored of looking at the same
journal three days in a row. Seeing as I have nothing much else to say
I shall simply steal mcfly's idea and get people to do this;

Leave your name and...

1. I'll respond with something random i like about you.
2. I'll tell you what song/movie reminds me of you.
3. I'll pick a flavor of jelly to wrestle with you in. (WTF)
4. I'll say something that only makes sense to you and me.
5. I'll tell you my first/clearest memory of you.
6. I'll tell you what animal you remind me of.
7. I'll ask you something that I've always wondered about you.

Some one needs to do this for me too, cos so far no one has and that
makes me very sad, lol. So, with a total lack of things to say I shall
sign off and wait for comments to flow in from my adoring friends...or
whatever. :)
<lj:music>I'll give you three guesses...</lj:music>

Bonjour mes amies. Today was my first day back at school after half
term. I'm in Year 13, and I am so fed up with school now. I feel so
restrained and bored there - everyone in my year does, because we've
all sort of out grown the school system. I'm not applying for Uni
though, I want to be an actor so I'm applying for Drama Schools! My
first audition is two weeks tomorrow, for the sixth month course at
Oxford School of Drama. I'm also auditioning for Bristol Old Vic
Theatre School, LAMDA, RADA, Guildhall, East 15, Rose Bruford, Drama
Centre, CSSD and Mountview. Sounds a lot, but I want to get a good feel
for each school. I doubt I'll actually get in this year, but I think a
gap will be good so I'm not too worried. Not sure exactly what I'll do
though...

I am delighted by the fact that there are now a whole three (possibly
even four!) people reading this journal. Move over Jane Austen!
Seriously though, I didn't think I'd use this thing at all, but there's
actually something so much fun about it! I like the freedom to just be
me. Sometimes it feels like nobody I know really cares what I have to
say, but here I can write whatever I like, and even if nobody reads it
then I've still written it, I've still had that freedom. I love it.

You know something else? I like the idea of screen names. On here, I don't
have to stick to my boring real name (It's not a bad name, just not
terribly exciting...) and I can say anything I like because no one I
know will find out, as even if they happen to be reading this they
don't know it's me. They just see crystal_owl. How delightful! Am I the
only one who likes that thought?

I am crystal_owl ... just you try and hold me back!

    <lj:music>Once again I am sitting in silence...</lj:music>

I thought I'd do a quick entry to celebrate the fact that now have my very first livejournal friend! Seeing as she is currently the only person reading this page this post seems a little redundant, but never mind - atsui, norgbelulah, whatever name you're currently going by: you are lovely :)
If anyone else does happen to be reading this then you should check out her laby fanfic, The Way Back. As of earlier today I am a beta for it too, which has made me very excited in a geeky way, lol.

I hope that someone else will eventually find their way onto this journal, as this is worrying close to talking to myself and I should hate to thought insane... I think I shall head over to imdb and round up some labyrinthians. Actually, while I'm on the subject I want to say just how sad I am that the Escher room is no more. I was never a poster on there but I was looking forward to joining when it came back up. Sadly it now never will, and it seems that the laby board on imdb is crumbling too, with Pink being deleted unfairly, and trolls popping up all over the place. Looks to me like LJ could soon become one of the last retreats of the Labyrinthians... *cue violins and snow falling*

*Ahem* On a happier note, I'm starting to get rather into the idea of my very own live journal so I'll proabably update this fairly frequently. Although that does sort of count on people actually reading it. Hmm. Right, which way to imdb?

    <lj:music>Alas, none...</lj:music>

Ok, hello to anyone who happens to be reading this! I have no definite plan for this journal, but most likely it'll end up turning into an account of all the weird stuff I get up to. It will certainly involve a lot of Labyrinth, as it is my favourite thing in the world! If I can work out how to get pictures up then I'll be able to do little gallery of my Labyrinth memorabillia, although my collection is pitifully small at present!

I'm in the UK, in England, so if you live on my side of the pond then say hello! People from all countries are welcome, obviously, but my latest 'thing' is to be highly jelous of the US Labyrinth of Jareth masked ball, so I think we should start a UK one too! Of course, easier said than done...

I'm sure inspiration will strike me to write more, but as there is currently most likely no one reading this thing it seems somewhat ridiculous to get very indepth on it. There's a philosphical question for you - if a live journal is written, but there's no one there to read it, then does it exist? lol.

Crystal_owl

P.S - Special welcome to anyone from the imdb boards, and if pink happens to be around I promise to never delete her posts!
